The Bran­den­burg Poli­ce is the sta­te poli­ce of the Fede­ral Sta­te of Bran­den­burg and is respon­si­ble for secu­ri­ty and public order in the sta­te. It has about 8000 employees in a wide varie­ty of are­as. The Bran­den­burg Poli­ce focu­ses on modern and citi­zen-ori­en­ted poli­ce work that meets the needs of the population.

De-escala­ting ope­ra­tio­nal sce­na­ri­os and objec­ti­ve assess­ment of the situation

Appli­ca­ti­on:

Espe­ci­al­ly during long ope­ra­ti­ons, body cams are expec­ted to redu­ce the num­ber of stressful con­fron­ta­tio­nal situations

Feed­back:

Bran­den­burg Poli­ce is using the Net­Co Body-Cam during a one-year pilot pro­ject. 10 vol­un­teer poli­ce offi­cers take part in the trial.

For all ope­ra­tors inten­si­ve trai­nings were held befo­re the start of the tri­al: regar­ding body-cam tech­no­lo­gy and manage­ment soft­ware, as well as legal and tac­ti­cal trainings.
